Tatischev Monument

V.N. Tatishchev Monument is located in Tolyatti, on the bank of the Куйбышев reservoir. The sculpture by Moscow master Alexander Rukavishnikov depicts a rider on a prancing horse standing on a pedestal-castle from the time of Pyotr I. The opening took place on September 2, 1998 with participation of Tatishchev descendants. The monument is made of bronze and limestone; it is installed in an ухоженный area with park and cherry orchard.
