FaithfulnessMonument

Tolyatti, South Highway / Lev Yashin Street, 21st Quarter

Faithfulness Monument in Tolyatti honors a German Shepherd dog that awaited its departed owners for seven years at the Southern Highway. Created by Ulyanov sculptor Oleg Klyuev, the bronze canine is approximately 1.5 meters tall and rests upon a granite plinth. Locals raised 250,000 rubles for this memorial, which has gained popularity among newlyweds thanks to a local superstition promising marital longevity through touching the statue's nose.
