Iver Monastery

The Holy-Iver Convent for Women is situated in Rostov-on-Don on Neklinovskaya Street. The community was founded in 1903 as the Trinity-Alexeievsk Female Community within the Holy-Trinity Church. After being revived in 1991 under the name Holy-Iver Monastery, services resumed in the ruined church of Bishop Dimitry of Rostov. The consecration of the upper church dedicated to the Iver Icon of the Mother of God took place in 1996. The convent is located in picturesque surroundings near the Temerik River.
