Student Park DGTU named after L. V. Krasnichenko

Student Park of DGTU named after L.V. Krasnichenko is situated on Gagarin Square in Rostov-on-Don. It is a green area founded by city students in 1910. University events and commemorative actions take place here. The park bears the name of Leonid Krasnichenko who for a long time headed Rostov Engineering Institute. Adjacent to the park is the main building of Don State Technical University. The park's territory includes a memorial to students and staff members of the university who died during World War II as well as monuments reflecting the historical heritage of the educational institution.
