Staro-Pokrovsky Church

The Old-Pokrovsky Church is situated on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street in Rostov-on-Don. The church building constructed in 2007 reflects traditions of Russian church architecture. The original wooden Pokrovskii Presvyatoi Bogoroditsy church was moved here from the fortress of St. Dimitry of Rostov in 1761. Nearby the church there is a monument to Empress Elizabeth Pyotrovna.
