Rostov Oblast Museum of Fine Arts

The Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts is situated at Pushkinskaya Street, 115. The collection is linked to the history of the Rostov-Nakhichevan Society of Fine Arts from the early 20th century. Artistic collections were formed through donations from the Tretyakov Gallery and works from private collections of local benefactors after the revolution. The museum has been operating since 1938 but starting in May 2025, all exhibits moved to a new location on Chekhov Avenue, 60. A distinctive feature of the collection is Old Russian art represented by icons from the Moscow school of the 16th-17th centuries.
