Rostov Oblast Museum of Fine Arts

The Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts is located at Pushkinskaya Street, 115 in Rostov-on-Don. Founded in 1938, it is one of the oldest art museums in southern Russia. The collection includes over 6000 exhibits from various forms of art, including painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative applied arts. The permanent exhibition introduces visitors to the history of Russian and Western European art, from ancient Russian times to the present day. In 2010, the museum was recognized internationally as a laureate of the "Changing Museum in a Changing World" competition.
