Rostov State Circus

The Rostov State Circus is situated on Budennovskiy Avenue, 45. Its first performance in the current building took place with Igor Kio participating in 1957. The circus history of the city began earlier; the original circus stood where the present-day "Intourist" hotel is now. Famous artist dynasties perform there, and the dome has a reinforced concrete structure. The building is a typical example of Soviet architecture from the mid-20th century.
