V. S. Bylkov Rostov State Puppet Theatre

The Rostov State Puppet Theatre named after V.S. Bylkov is situated at University Alley, 46. Founded in 1935, it is led by director Vladimir Bylkov who oversaw the theatre for over thirty years. Performances are intended both for children and adult audiences. The theater has toured within the region and participated in national and international festivals, earning professional awards. The history of the theater began in the 1920s with work by Rostov puppet-makers with children.
