Paramonovsky Granaries

Paramonovsky Depots in Rostov-on-Don are an 19th century complex featuring grain storage facilities built using unique spring water cooling system. The site is a federal cultural heritage monument. Buildings feature bricks from Levanidov brothers' factory; last structures were constructed late 1890s. A distinguishing feature was gravity-fed grain loading due to street-level elevation difference with piers. Post-war years saw the spaces utilized as construction materials warehouses.
