North-Caucasus Railway Transportation Museum

The North-Caucasus Railways' Railway Technology Museum is located in Rostov-on-Don at Kazachy Pereulok, 44B. It opened on August 1, 2003 and includes over 50 exhibits including steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, electric trains, passenger and freight cars. A distinctive feature of the museum are historical exhibition tracks at Gnilovskaya Station and regular retro-train trips around the city. Among unique items is an ice wagon from 1914 and the oldest preserved railway car in Russia made by "Gloster" factory.
