The Museum of Russian-Armenian Friendship is located in the historical mansion of merchant M. Iskidarov built by architect S.K. Laskanov in 1899-1900. It first opened in 1972 at Surb Khach Monastery but since 2011 it has been situated at Freedom Square, 14/2. The exhibition includes materials on culture, быта Don Armenians and relations between Rostov and Nakhichevan-on-the-Don. It is a department of the Rostov Oblast Regional Museum of Local Lore.
