The Museum of Russian-Armenian Friendship is located in the historical mansion of merchant M. Iskidorov designed by architect S.K. Laskanov in 1899-1900. It initially opened in 1972 at Surb Khach Monastery but starting from 2011 it has been based at Freedom Square, 14/2. The exhibit showcases materials related to culture, life of Don Armenians, and interactions between Rostov and Nakhichevan-on-the-Don. It is a division of the Rostov Oblast Regional Museum of Local Studies.
