Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rostov-on-Don is located at Stanislavskogo Street, 58. The cathedral building was constructed in 1854 by architect Konstantin Ton on the site of an earlier wooden church and chapel with the same name. After a fire in 1791, a new church was built here, and in 1795, the temple was restored using funds from local merchants. Today, the cathedral is a regional cultural heritage site.
