Don State Public Library

The Don State Public Library is situated in Rostov-on-Don on Pushkinskaya Street, 175A. Established with an initial collection of 3000 books, it now houses a modern complex covering 4909 sq.m. The building is clad with dark stone featuring relief images of world cultural figures. Designed by architect Alexander Dolzhikov, the library features a monolithic concrete storage facility and offers users 1118 seating places. It also operates the Don Electronic Library.
