Income House M. V. Shirmann

The income property of M.V. Shirmann is situated on Voroshilovsky Prospect, 20 in Rostov-on-Don. The building is notable because after the war its ground floor housed the city's puppet theater while upper floors served as the "South" hotel. Inside it has corridor-style layout. At different times there were the society "Spartak", association of proletarian writers and People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs. A commemorative plaque is installed on the facade honoring Vladimir Mayakovsky's performance in 1983. The project was designed by architect Arutyun Zakiyev.
