Lenin Monument

The monument to V.I. Lenin in Vladikavkaz city stands on Lenina Square and is a federal cultural heritage site. It was opened on November 6th, 1957, commemorating the forty-year anniversary of the October Revolution. The monument's height with the pedestal reaches approximately 12 meters. Surrounding buildings of historical architecture line Prospekt Mira. This place is connected to the city's history where another Lenin monument previously stood on Theatre Square, inaugurated in 1926.
