Issa Pliev Monument

In Vladikavkaz city, on General Pliev's Square, there stands a horseback monument to twice Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Mongolia General-Polkovnik Issa Pliev. It was unveiled in 1997 by sculptors Boris Totiyev and Nikolay Khodov. The monument depicts the general riding a horse.
