National Museum of Republic North Ossetia — Alania

The National Museum of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania is situated in Vladikavkaz on Mira Avenue, 11. Founded in 1893, it grew from the Tersky Regional Museum. The main building was formerly the merchant Khodykov's mansion. The collection began with bronze items from the Koban burial ground. The museum serves as the region's primary research and exhibition center.
