Mukhtarov Mosque

Muktarov Mosque situated on Kotsoye Street, 62 in Vladikavkaz, is an important architectural monument built between 1900 and 1908. It is a federal cultural heritage site designed in the style of Arab architecture with elements from Cairo mosques of the X-XII centuries. Architectural design was created by architect Iosif Ploshko. The mosque serves as a symbol of the city and belongs to Sunni Islam direction.
