Museum of Fine Arts named after M. S. Tuganov

The M.S. Tuganov Art Museum is located in Vladikavkaz at Mira Avenue, 12. It is a state art center combining collections of Russian and Ossetian fine arts. The museum building is an architectural monument of Russian modernism built in 1903 by merchant B.G. Oganov. Founded in 1939, it received its current name in 1971 in honor of artist Maharbek Tuganov.
