M. S. Tuganov Art Museum

The M.S. Tuganov Art Museum is located in Vladikavkaz at Mira Avenue, 12. It was formerly a trading construction owned by merchant B.G. Oganov, built in 1903 and representing a monument of Russian art nouveau. Founded in 1939, its collections include over 6000 works of Russian, Soviet and Ossetian painting. In May 1971, the institution received the name of artist Maharbek Tuganov. The total area of the building is 1200 sq. m.
