Holy Nativity Cathedral

The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located on Ossetskaya Hill in Vladikavkaz and is the oldest Orthodox church in the city. The first stone building appeared here in 1823, later, in 1861, it was replaced by a new building in classical style. Around the church there is a necropolis with burials of prominent figures from the history and culture of the Ossetian people.
