Ilinsky Church

Ilyinskaya Church is located at Vladikavkaz's Meshchanovskoe Cemetery, at Dzerzhinsky Street, 70. It is an architectural monument and was built as a chapel of Prophet Elijah in 1888, officially consecrated in 1895. Despite the difficult times of Soviet era, this church remained the only active Orthodox parish in Vladikavkaz.
