Ilyinskaya Church

Ilyinskaya Church is located on Meschansky Cemetery in Vladikavkaz and is an architectural monument. Construction began in 1888 under the supervision of priest Vasily Zhukov and was completed in 1895. The church was consecrated in the same year. It is the only Orthodox parish in Vladikavkaz during the Soviet period. Ilyinskaya Church has been included in the regional historical and cultural heritage register.
