Dancing Soslan Fountain

In the center of Lenin's Square in Vladikavkaz is the fountain "Dancing Soslan on Uacatomonga's Bowl". Built in 1960 on the site of the former cinema "Pioneer", it features a sculpture of the hero of Ossetian epic Soslan dancing on top of the bowl of mythical creature Uacatomonga. The fountain blends harmoniously with the unified ensemble of the square, where there is also a monument to Vladimir Lenin.
