Evgeniy Vakhtangov House

The residence of Evgeniy Vakhtangov is situated at Chermen Baeva Street, 17 and Armenian Street, 2 in Vladikavkaz. This building is associated with the childhood and youth of the renowned director Evgeniy Vakhtangov and is listed as a federal cultural heritage site. A branch of the Vakhtangov Theatre has been opened here along with a museum exhibition inaugurated on May 2, 2023. Previously, the mansion was divided into communal apartments but now it belongs to federal property and is intended for the creation of a cultural center.
