Rukavishnikovy Mansion

Rukavishnikovy Estate is located on Verkhne-Volzhskaya Embankment in Nizhny Novgorod. It is a branch of the Nizhny Novgorod State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve. Inside the building there are luxurious interiors with plasterwork, paintings and antique furniture preserved. The estate was built in an Italian palace style in the second half of the 19th century by merchant Sergey Rukavishnikov, who made it the richest house in town. Regular exhibitions dedicated to the history and architecture of the region take place here.
