Nizhny Novgorod Stadium

Stadium "Nizhny Novgorod" is located in Nizhny Novgorod on Betancourt Street, 1A. Construction began after the existing cargo port was dismantled. Main construction works were completed in December 2017. Nearby the stadium there is an architectural monument of federal significance — Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. In July 2017, ground preparation started through seeding grass. Initially, the stadium was planned closer to Meshchersky Lake but later the location changed due to fan convenience.
