Russian Museum of Photography

The Russian Museum of Photography in Nizhny Novgorod is located at Piskunova St., 9A. It showcases the history of domestic photography from the 19th century to present day. The collection features antique cameras, unique shots and archival documents. Among the exhibits stand out photoplastic and camera obscura. Permanent exhibitions include stereophotographs and holograms. The museum's fund totals over 212 thousand items including photographs, daguerreotypes, cinema equipment and personal belongings of famous photographers.
