Kulibin Park

Kulibin Park is located in the central part of Nizhny Novgorod and named after famous inventor Ivan Kulibin. Previously, this area was Pyotropavlovskoye cemetery where Kulibin himself rested. Currently, the park's area is 12 hectares. In the park there is a monument with a bas-relief by sculptor L.F. Kulakova dedicated to Maxime Gorky's mother - Akulina Ivanovna Kashirina.
