Nesterov Monument

The monument to Pyotr Nesterov was installed in Nizhny Novgorod on the Upper Volga Embankment in 1987. The pilot became famous for performing the first "dead loop" in 1913. The monument is located near the memorial to Valery Chkalov and is complemented by four commemorative signs dedicated to his feat.
