Kuzma-Minin Monument

Kuzma Minin's Monument located on Minin and Pozharsky Square in Nizhny Novgorod is one of the city's main attractions. The sculpture was created by Alexander Kolobov and initially made from concrete with a bronze imitation due to metal shortage during the war. Later it was replaced by a bronze version. The solemn opening took place on November 7, 1943.
