Monument to Minin and Pozharsky

The Monument to Minin and Pozharsky is located in Nizhny Novgorod, on the Kremlin grounds. The monument was designed by architect A.I. Melnikov and installed in 1828, being the oldest city monument. Its bas-reliefs were made according to sketches by famous sculptor I.P. Martos, author of the Moscow obelisk depicting Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky.
