Lower Volga Embankment

Nizhne-Volzhskaya Embankment in Nizhny Novgorod connects Kanavinsky Bridge with the historical city center. It includes Red Barracks of the 18th-19th centuries, Zatcheevskaya Tower of Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin and a monument to Pyotr I. The embankment is decorated with 23 wrought iron sculptures and is a popular walking area for locals. Divided by Chkalovskaya Steps into two parts, it features boat "Hero" and the city's symbol - sculpture "Silver Deer".
