Nizhny Novgorod Cable Car

Nizhny Novgorod cableway connects Volga riverbanks in Nizhny Novgorod and Bora. The longest unsupported span measures 861 meters. The cableway opened on February 9th, 2012, reducing the journey between cities from 23 km to merely 3.6 km. Engineering solutions feature the tallest pylon standing 82 meters high and employing a heavy supporting cable totaling 72 tons.
