State Museum A.M.Gorky - Kashirina Cottage

Kashirina's Cottage located at Nizhny Novgorod, Postovyi Sъezd, 21 is a branch of the State A.M.Gorky Museum. It features interiors familiar to readers from "Childhood" novel. Exhibition includes genuine household items belonging to Kashirina family and depicts the atmosphere of writer's grandfather's mansion. The museum was opened in 1938 and considered one of the oldest literary museums in the city.
