Holy-Nikolay Cathedral

Cathedral-of-Saint-Nikolay in Murmansk, situated on Zelyonoy Street, serves as the main church of Murmansk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Dedicated to Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker, it houses sacred relics for believers. Construction took place from 1986 to 1989. Inside the complex there are rich iconostases and painted wall murals. The temple is named after Saint Nikolay, patron saint of sailors, and includes chapels dedicated to Trifon Pechengsky and Our Lady Icon.
