Waiting Monument

The monument "Waiting" in Murmansk stands on Chumbarova-Luchinskiy Street, 46. The solemn opening took place on November 10, 2012 after years of work by sculptors Igor Chumakov and Yuri Anushko. The sculpture symbolizes Victor Timofeyev's poem "Sentimental Watch" and depicts a woman waiting for a ship to return, with a seagull sitting next to her. The inscription "To those who can wait" is engraved on the granite pedestal.
