Saint Nikolay Monument

The Nikolay Wonderworker Monument, unveiled in July 2018, is situated on Vorovsky Street in Murmansk. A six-meter bronze sculpture depicts the saintly father standing in a boat holding Cape Horn in one hand and a ship in another. The iconographic image was created based on a painting by Fyodor Konyukhov, the initiator of the monument's installation. More than six tons of bronze were used for the composition.
