In Murmansk amusement park by Semёnovskoye Lake there is a bronze statue of cat Semen. The cat is depicted sitting on a bench with a roadside bag in his paws. This monument is dedicated to a real traveler - a cat who got lost in Moscow in 1987 and after six years arrived in Murmansk, having traveled about two thousand kilometers. The monument was opened in 2013 and has become one of the most popular places for photo sessions in the city.
