Anatoly Bredov Monument

In Murmansk, on Prospektuz Street, there is a monument to Hero of the Soviet Union Anatoly Bredov. A bronze sculpture about three meters high depicts a soldier in the heroic moment of his last grenade throw. A granite boulder serves as the base of the monument, which was solemnly opened on May 9, 1958 in memory of the feat of the defender of the Arctic.
