Murmansk Maritime Trade Port History Museum

The Museum of History of Murmansk Sea Trade Port is located on Portovaya Street in Murmansk city near the icebreaker-museum "Lenin". It opened in September 2015 to celebrate the centennial of the port. Its main attraction is a unique panoramic painting by artist Evgeniy Bartold created in 1933. Visitors can see its fragments and a reduced version due to the large size of the original. The museum's exhibition provides detailed information about the creation and development of the port closely linked with the emergence of Murmansk itself.
