Spas-na-Vodah Church

The Church of Savior-on-Waters in Murmansk is situated on the upper platform of the memorial complex above Kolsky Bay. It was consecrated on October 3, 2002, in honor of All-Merciful Savior. Nearby there is a memorial to sailors who died during peacetime. The church offers panoramic views of the bay and is annexed to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Maritime Cathedral. Officially, the church is named after the Image Not Made By Hands of Christ.
