Giant-Houses-on-Lenin-Avenue

On Lenina Prospect in Murmansk there are two objects of regional cultural heritage - buildings No. 65 and No. 78 built in 1939 by architect V.M. Olenev. These seven-story residential structures were designed in Stalinist neoclassicism style and known as "giant houses". Each building had over hundred apartments, mentioned in local press. The buildings were intended for workers of ship repair plant and fish processing plant respectively.
