Resurrection Embankment

Voskresenskaya Embankment in Yoshkar-Ola runs along the Malye Kokshagi River and has a length of about 1.5 kilometers. It connects Voskresensky Cathedral, Arkhangelskaya Sloboda district and city squares, being an important part of the city's tourist route. Monuments are installed on the embankment, including a sculpture of Rembrandt, and there is a Museum of Orthodox History. Views from the embankment include picturesque scenes of Bruges Embankment and Patriarch's Square.
