Tsarevkokhsajskij Kreml'

Tsarevkokhsajskij Kremlin in Yoshkar-Ola is a historical complex with four brick towers and walls. There is a monument to Tsar Fedor Ioannovich, who founded the city in 1584. Regularly held here are theatrical performances, fairs and historical festivals. An exhibition "Legend of Tsarev Grad", archaeological exhibit "Archaeology of the Mari El Republic" is open. Also running reconstructions of ancient artillery exhibits. Free entry.
