Assumption Cathedral (Assumption Church)

Two-story Voznesenskaya Church in Yoshkar-Ola built in 1756 by merchant Pchelin is in Russian baroque style. Located near Tsarevkokshaisky Kremlin and one of the oldest city buildings. After transferring the church to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1992 restoration works began but belfry and some decorative elements were lost earlier.
