Tree of Life Sculpture
Yoshkar-Ola, Central Park of Culture and Rest
In Central Park of Culture and Rest in Yoshkar-Ola there is a sculpture called "Tree of Life". It is a three-figure bronze composition over three meters high, unveiled on November 4th, 2008. The figures depict a young man with drums, a man with a flute, and an elder with guitars, united by a stylized tree. The sculpture symbolizes the continuity of generations among the Mari people.
