"Tree of Life Sculpture"

The sculpture "Tree of Life" is located in the Central Park of Culture and Rest in Yoshkar-Ola. It is a three-figure bronze composition over three meters high, unveiled on November 4, 2008. The figures symbolize three generations of the Mari people: a young man with a drum, a man with a flute, and an elder with a psaltery. The work was created by renowned Russian sculptor Andrey Kovalkhuk. The sculpture has become a symbol of the national culture of the Republic of Mari El.
