Patriarch's Square

Patrist Square in Yoshkar-Ola emerged in 2010 following the reconstruction of Malaya Kokshaga Embankment. Here, monuments to Patriarch Alexius II, saints Pyotr and Feodora, as well as dynamic composition "Lord's Entrance into Jerusalem" were installed. The square is situated on the right bank of the river and named after the patriarch whose memory is immortalized with a monument.
