Yyvan Kyrlé Monument

Yyvan Kyrlä's monument is located on the square in front of Yoshkar-Ola railway station. A bronze sculpture depicts an actor in the role of homeless boy Mustafa from the famous Soviet film "Life Begins Again". Kyrly, a Mari and Soviet artist born in the Republic of Mari El, became known for his talent and role in the first Soviet sound film. The monument is next to the city railway station.
