Pyotr and Feofania Monument

The statue of Pyotr and Feodora is situated on Patriarch's Square in Yoshkar-Ola. It depicts saints Pyotr and Feodora standing in a boat and is dedicated to them as patrons of family and marriage within Orthodox tradition. Nearby stands a chapel of Pyotr and Feodora built in 2011 in pseudo-Russian style. The monument was unveiled to mark the 90th anniversary of the Mari El Republic.
