Elizabeth Palace Monument

The monument to Empress Elizabeth Pyotrovna in Yoshkar-Ola stands on Bruges Embankment, 1. The sculpture was created by People's Artist of Russia Andrey Kovalyukh and made from bronze on a granite pedestal. Elizabeth Pyotrovna is depicted riding a horse, while the pedestal features an engraved dedication. The monument symbolizes the development of Orthodoxy and education during her reign in Tsaritsyno.
