Elizabeth Palace Monument

In Yoshkar-Ola, on the Bruges Embankment, there is a monument to Empress Elizabeth Pyotrovna created by People's Artist of Russia Andrey Kovalyukh. The monument consists of a bronze sculpture of the empress riding a horse and a granite pedestal with engravings. The monument symbolizes the development of Orthodoxy and education during her rule in Tsaritsyno.
