National Museum of Mari El named after T. Evseev

The National Museum of the Mari El Republic named after T. Yevseev is located in Yoshkar-Ola, Sovetskaya Street, 153. It was founded in 1920 and received national status in 1992. Over 228 thousand exhibits are kept here, including archaeological findings of ancient Mari people from the VI-XIII centuries. The museum also features ethnographic, numismatic, and natural science collections. In 2024, a museum-patriotic center "Heroes of the Fatherland" opened.
